The first site that we looked at today is Graphita. Graphita is a flash based site that allows you to add fun cartoons, text and other silly things to pictures you upload. The site allows you to save to your hard drive or share on a number of web 2.0 sites such as flickr and facebook.

Your second task is to read this blog entry by Teacher Dude titled blogs as course book supplements.As you read folow the links and consider carefully what he is suggesting and then with a small group discuss the following questions:

1. consider this quote The basic idea is that either I, or preferably the students, post links to anything we see on the internet that is connected with the subject matter in the unit we're doing. How effective do you think this will be?
2. Which do you think will be more effective and why; links provided by the teacher or links provided by students?
3. Can  you foresee any problems that might be encountered using this idea? if so, how would you deal with them?
4. What further suggestions can you make for this type of activity?
